    China Tourism giant just waking up!
    According to the National Tourism Administration,
    southwest China's Sichuan Province has become the nation's first province to launch a pilot tourism standardization scheme.

    In the next one and half years, the provincial government
    will focus its efforts on exploring ways of promoting
    the standardization of tourism, establishing standard systems, and evaluating the results.

    By 2012, the province will have established 10 standardized tourism cities and counties and 50 standardized,
    industry-related enterprises.

    Reportedly the move is in line with State Council's decision
    to speed up tourism development.

    A qualified and or experienced person who can offer knowledgeable advice to help people who want to tour rather than just laze on a beach all day... and for those who want to do a bit of both - tour and stay or tour and cruise or even tour stay and cruise!
    Tour coordinators can connect tour guides and tour companies with their customers. They offer a chance to see, sometimes hidden, or difficult to access places, that holiday makers would never get the chance to see or have the inclination to do it themselves. Touring coordinators are employed to find and expand the existing tour itinerary and to offer information about the tour during the time that they are involved with escorting the tour clients on the actual tour.

    Plus the coordinator has to be experienced enough to offer advice over the phone, as to the customer needs, abilities and to fulfill the desires of each kind of tourist, as an individual or group.

    Tour coordinators can also be asked to organise individual or package tours for businesses, such as incentives and for example prize winners.
